GLAM4GOOD

GLAM4GOOD

VSP Vision joined forces with GLAM4GOOD to expand access to vision care, eyewear, clothing and accessories for communities in need. Together, we’ve brought hope and opened new possibilities for teachers who lost everything after Hurricane Harvey, pediatric cancer patients and their families in Puerto Rico also recovering from Hurricane Maria, High School of Fashion Industries students, and newly adoptive families.

WE SEE, A CHILD EYE HEALTH PROJECT

WE SEE, A CHILD EYE HEALTH PROJECT

In 2014, VSP Vision companies collaborated with Brien Holden Vision Institute, Nike, local government agencies, and other local partners to launch WE SEE, A Child Eye Health Project, in Soweto, South Africa. The multi-year project created sustainable access to vision care and accomplished its goal of reducing uncorrected refractive error among schoolchildren by 95%.

U.S. CONFERENCE OF MAYORS

In 2016, as part of our commitment to provide access to eye care and eyewear for a #MillionMore people in need, VSP Vision and the U.S. Conference of Mayors teamed up to reach out to communities across the country. Over more than two years, with the support of local mayors and VSP® network doctors, more than 12,000 people in need gained access to critical eye care and eyewear.

American Red Cross

American Red Cross

Since 1997, VSP Vision has partnered with the American Red Cross to distribute Eyes of Hope gift certificates that provide access to a local VSP network doctor for eye care and to replace glasses lost or damaged during a disaster. VSP Vision is proud to be an American Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program member.

Prevent Blindness

PREVENT BLINDNESS

VSP Vision supports the work of Prevent Blindness in developing programs to help fight blindness and save sight through funding and volunteering. VSP Eyes of Hope also provides Prevent Blindness with gift certificates that offer no-cost access to an eye exam and glasses from a local VSP network doctor. In 2020, Prevent Blindness honored VSP Vision with the Persons of Vision 2020 Award.

Sacramento Kings Eyes of Hope Game

Since 2012, donations from Sacramento Kings fans have netted glasses for people in need worldwide, matched by no-cost eye exams and new glasses for people in need in the U.S. In total, nearly 8,900 people have received the gift of sight through VSP Eyes of Hope eyewear donation drives!
