Gift Certificates

VSP® Eyes of Hope® gift certificates provide adults and children in need with access to eye care and new glasses at no cost through a VSP network doctor in their community. Gift certificates are distributed through our national network of community partners.

Partner chapters, affiliates, or members of existing national VSP Eyes of Hope partner organizations, including school nurses, please visit partners.vspeyesofhope.com to request gift certificates for distribution in your community.

Get Help

VSP Eyes of Hope offers two primary types of gift certificates. Learn about the help available and how to qualify below. If you already have a VSP Eyes of Hope gift certificate, find a local VSP network doctor where you can make an appointment.

Youth and Children

Individuals Without Vision Coverage

VSP Eyes of Hope gift certificates provide adults and children in need with no-cost eye care and/or prescription glasses.

Who’s Eligible

  • Individuals of any age
  • Family income at or under 200% of Federal Poverty Level guidelines
  • No coverage through a private insurer or government program for services covered by the gift certificate
  • Haven't received care through a VSP program during the last 12 months

 

How to Access Help

  • For school-aged children, contact your child’s school nurse who can request a VSP Eyes of Hope gift certificate through one of our education partners. Additional coverage may be available for vision therapy, if prescribed.
  • For everyone else, contact one of our community partners, including Prevent Blindness, a local Lions Club chapter, the National Association of Community Health Centers, or UnidosUS.

 

 
Individuals Affected by Disaster

Individuals Affected by Disaster

Disaster relief gift certificates provide community members affected by disaster with no-cost eye care and replacement glasses.

Who’s Eligible

  • Individuals of any age
  • Need eye care or replacement glasses due to a disaster, such as a fire, hurricane, tornado, or flood
  • Have no vision insurance coverage or no available benefits through existing vision insurance coverage

 

How to Access Help

  • If you’re a VSP member, call 800.877.7195 to have your benefits authorized, even if you’ve already used your benefits this year.
  • If you don’t have VSP Vision Care coverage, contact your local American Red Cross chapter.
